Samudrapur :
A 14-wheeler truck loaded with scrap currency notes suddenly caught fire on Kandhali -Barbari road in Wardha district. The entire scrap was reduced to ashes and the truck was also badly damaged.
The incident took place 2.30 in the night on Sunday.
The truck was travelling from Hyderabad to Muzaffarnagar. As per details, driver Jaswant Singh Trilok Singh (45), a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and cleaner Bhopal Dataram (60) were transporting scrap of Indian currency notes in the truck (UP-12/CT-5327) from Hyderabad to Muzaffarnagar.
The truck suddenly caught fire due to some sparking in the truck when it was passing through Kandhali forest area on Kandhali-Barbari road.
The fire soon engulfed the entire truck. The driver informed Jam Highway Police.
Cops rushed to the spot along with fire brigade and the fire was doused. Fortunately, there was no loss of life.
