THE 11th Late Dhanraj Acharya Memorial Business Leadership Summit, signature event of the Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya was organised on Saturday at Persistent Hall. The summit proved to be memorable and distinct not only because it felicitated first generation women entrepreneurs from different fields, for they started their careers with a humble beginning. The ladies made their foot prints so large that it can be set as an example for many to follow.
 
The four lady entrepreneur felicitated were Nisha Kothari, Founder and Managing Director of IIT Home; Dr Smita Bhabra, Director Global Scientific Inc; Chef Neeraj Jain, Director Nirali Cooking and Institute and Shweta Bhattad, Collective Founder of Gram Art Project and Performance Artist. Promod Acharya, Piyush Fattepuria, President of Rotary Ishanya, Saurabh Sangani, Committee Chair-Vocational Rotary Ishanya shared the dais. Sharing their highs and lows, the four lady entrepreneurs gave an insight into their life’s journey. Nisha Kothari, elobrated her journey from a faculty at a private tutorial to starting her own venture -- IIT Home. Sharing her success mantra, Kothari said that meditation gave her great power. She was introduced by CA Abhay Agrawal.
 
“Fallow your business ethics, values and success is bound to fallow you,” said Neeraj Jain. Her first workshop at Seoni in 1998 was a huge success and after there was no looking back. Currently, Nirali Cooking and Bakery Institute is running 60 small and big courses. She is also the pioneer in introducing chocolate bouquet and chocolate fountain in the city. Dheeraj Maru introduced Chef Neeraj Jain. Dr Smita Bhabra, believes in accepting challenges and passion to do something new and be distinct from others. She said that one should be adventurous and be ready to accept failures.
 
Starting her lab in a car garage, she now has 250 employees working in the organisation. She was introduced by Anand Kalra. Shweta Bhattad, noted that public art performances sensitised people quickly and started her venture. She was introduced by Mahesh Lohati. Anita Laddhad, Pritish Chandak, Kanak Ramteke, Sunita Nabira, Jigna Thakkar, Sonal Chhabria, Shubha Rathi, Rahul Laddhad and CA Kirti Agrawal and team were present.
