Taking a cue from an automatic medicine vending machine installed at an aam aadmi mohalla clinic in Todapur in Delhi recently, two Class VIII students of Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Paschim Vihar, Delhi claimed to have prepared an advanced version of the machine which is pulling a huge crowd at the 46th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for Children (JNNSMEEC) 2019 in Raipur.

Students namely Hannu Verma and Akansha Rajput, under the guidance of their teacher Manju Bala, have devised the model which has additional feature of ATM Card unlike the medicine vending machine installed in Mohalla Clinic which has only bar coding system. The idea behind developing this machine is to overcome the difficulties faced by the patients in reaching out to medical shops to buy their medicines for normal diseases, said Hannu and Akansha. The students duo have already bagged prize for this model in the block, district and state level exhibitions.

They said that they have prepared this model keeping in mind the future need of the people. The machine, which uses sensor technology to automatically dispense medicines based on a doctor’s prescription, is like a mini-pharmacy. It would store different types of medicines. The machine will dispense the medicine only when a doctor prescribes them on a connected tablet. The vending machine will streamline the medicine dispensing protocol, cut the need for a full-time pharmacist. It also frees a doctor from non-clinical activities and allows more time for interaction with patients.

They said while talking to The Hitavada that it possesses great educational values in understanding the concept of law of Collinearity and law of concurrency, the model place an important role in Agricultural sector in developing thresher which is a boon for the farmers used as an agricultural tool, this model is used in aviation sector for the preparations of aircraft and its components and it also play a significant role in the defence sector in setting up security stations at the line of control. Further, the model is use in fuel conservation, rocket science for designing its structural components, the abstract concepts of law of collinearity in developing artificial intelligence robot in defence sector, the law of concurrency of diagonals in hexagon can also be used in developing highly modified drones and helicopters and the internal structure of law of collinearity in hexagon can also be used in making artificial intelligence circuit system.
