C’garh gets 5 IAS; Namrata Jain gets home cadre

Including Home Cadre, Namrata Jain IAS from Dantewada district, Chhattisgarh got five IAS in the state-wise cadre allocation by Ministry of Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India here on Thursday. The cadre allocation was announced for the candidates allocated to IAS on the basis of Civil Service Examination 2018. In the cadre allocation, as many as 47 candidates were allocated home cadre and 133 candidates were allocated outside cadre among the total 180 candidates of IAS – 2018 batch.
 
According to the announcement made by Ministry of DoPT five IAS allocated Chhattisgarh are Dantewada resident, Namrata Jain (General), who succeeded in UPSC exams with an impressive All India Rank 12; Vishwadeep (OBC) from Uttar Pradesh, who bagged AIR-360; Rena Jamil (OBC) from Jharkhand, who secured AIR-380; Jitendra Yadav (OBC) from Haryana, who secured AIR-403 and Neelam Laliaditya (SC) from Telangana, who secured AIR-470 in UPSC exam. Another IAS from Chhattisgarh Bilaspur native, Varnit Negi, AIR-13 was allocated Karnataka Cadre.
