District Hospital, Pandri gets Echo TMT machine

Echo-Trade Mill Test (TMT) machine have been installed at District Hospital Pandri for patients suffering from heart ailment. It is expected to start functioning from October last week. Heart care Department of the Government District Hospital Pandri is soon going to start the facility of state-of-the-art Echo-Cardiography and TMT machine. Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan has directed to mobilise the necessary resources to provide good treatment facilities to the patients in the Government hospitals of the district.
It is worth mentioning that in the past years, Raipur District Hospital has been awarded as the best district hospital by the Health Department under Kayakalp Yojana. In such a situation, the Government is also providing necessary funds to develop the district hospital as model hospital. Over 15,000 patients visit OPD in the district hospital in a month. Civil surgeon cum Superintendent of the district hospital, Dr Ravi Tiwari informed that if there is any abnormality in the heartbeat during the examination, Echo test will be done. At the same time, the examination in ECG machine will help you to feel the symptoms associated with heart problems like heart related abnormalities, chest pain or breathlessness, etc.
In this situation, the facilities of Echo test will help patients during the emergency. In order to provide super specialty treatment in the district hospital, OPD of special surgeons working in private hospitals will also be started for free. Expert doctors from hospitals like Ramakrishna Care, NH MMI Narayana, Sri Narayana, Sanjeevani CBCC Cancer Hospital, Sri Balaji Hospital, Suyash, Kalada, MGM Netralaya, VY Hospital will serve the patients. Due to this, poor and needy people will get treatment of serious diseases from time to time.
