Union Bank of India to hold Centenary Year Marathon 2019

Marking its centenary year, Union Bank of India will hold Marathon 2019 on November 10, Sunday at 6:30 am in the State capital on the theme ‘Run for Prosperity’.
 
 
 
Union Bank of India, Zonal General Manager Vinayak V Tembhurne while addressing the conference on Friday stated that “The marathon is open for public of the city and is being organised with an aim of presenting prosperity in the life of people by connecting them with Union Bank of India. Like today the banking has reached to the homes of people through which way of prosperity has been opened, so to bring more prosperity and success in lives of bank customers and people this marathon is being held in the city next month. The marathon will be started from Regional Office of the bank.”
 
He further stated that “Under ‘Go Green Campaign’, Union Bank of India is also inaugurating a new initiative ‘People planting Peepal’ to make this campaign reach to each one. The bank will disseminate awareness towards environment and will present a sapling of Peepal tree to each participant of the marathon. The bank has set target of at least 1,000 sapling distribution which will be planted in the city.”
 
On this occasion, Deputy Regional Head MG Singhal and Assistant General Manager Yachna Paliwal were also present. Registration for marathon will be started from October 19, Saturday and will be concluded on November 5 Registration is free of cost and can be done through the official site of the bank www.fervid.club.
