The Hitavada State Bureau :

Jagdalpur/Raipur,

Asserting that the server of the ruling Congress Government has crashed, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice-President Dr Raman Singh said that the ruling Congress has indulged in politicisation of administration and criminalisation of politics. Addressing media persons at a press conference in Jagdalpur, the former Chief Minister alleged that it is due to Congress misrule, situation in complete Bastar region is deteriorating gradually. Since last ten months not a single new development work has been initiated in the region and all ongoing works have come to a stand-still. In these 10 months, the Congress government has done one thing, shuffling of officials like a pack of playing cards.

The complete financial position of the state is in doldrums and the state is gradually proceeding towards bankruptcy. Addressing media persons Dr Singh said in these 10 months the Congress has got distanced itself from people and fear of defeat is writ large on the faces of its leaders. That is the reason why, the Congress is trying options continuously in order to consolidate its position in urban bodies’ election. It is trying to snatch people’s right to vote and promoting the politics of horse trading and pressure politics. Dr Singh said the Congress had promised several sops for the people in its election manifesto but now all these promises have vanishes in thin air.

The Congress which had promised to implement complete liquor prohibition by taking ‘Gangajal’ in its hands, has now shied away from the very idea, on the contrary, now illicit recovery from liquor outlets have started after selling liquor brands on higher rates. Dr Singh while reacting on Dantewada bye-poll, said the ruling Congress misused government machinery and the results were allegedly changed. In Chitrakot, we have prayed to Election Commission to ensure free and fair election, as 70-80 percent polling in hyper-sensitive polling booths is a clear sign of anarchy.

Talking to media persons on another significant issue wherein Maharashtra BJP has promised in its 2019 election manifesto that it would urge the Centre to confer Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar if elected to power, Dr Singh said Veer Savarkar was a great freedom fighter, who had sacrificed everything for the country’s independence and those making statement against him should read history thoroughly. Present during the press conference were Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh, BJP ST Cell National President Ramvichar Netam, State President Vikram Usendi, BJP election incharge Narayan Chandel, former Minister Kedar Kashyap and former MP Dinesh Kashyap, Kamalchandra Bhanjdeo and Sriniwas Rao Maddi amongst others.
