‘Understand mystery of science’

Former Vice-Chancellor of Pt Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) Dr S K Pandey and Dr Ninad Bodhankar from School of Studies in Geology and WRM, PRSU, delivered lecture on the last day of the 46th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for Children – 2019, BTI Ground, Raipur, on Saturday.
 
The exhibition carried the theme “Science and Technology for Inclusive Growth”. Dr Pandey exhorted students to understand the mystery of nature while making Science a part of life. Dr Pandey said Science and Technology should be applied without harming the nature and environment. Dr Bodhankar delivered lecture on subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Geology of Water.
 
He said that the earth had come into existence some 4.6 million years due to the impact of Big-Bang Theory of Solar System. Water is the basic element if life which is available only in the earth which has only 3 per cent water which can be support the life. Dr Bodhankar said that water in Raipur carry calcium in maximum quantity. Assistant Professor and National Science Exhibition Coordinator Jyoti Chakravorthy, SCERT Joint Director Dr Yogesh Shivhare, Dinesh Mishra (Andh Unnmulan Shraddha Samiti), Ashok Pradhan (PRSU), M L Nayak, Prashant Pandey, Assistant Director, State Literacy and Alok Sharma were present.
