BJP, Congress rope in stalwarts on last day of campaigning in Jhabua

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress roped in stalwart leaders into the last day of canvassing for Jhabua Assembly by-poll on Saturday. Chief Minister Kamal Nath held rally in support of Congress candidate Kantilal Bhuria. Ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State President Rakesh Singh held public meetings and roadshow to seek vote for party candidate Bhanu Bhuria. From morning till dusk, leaders of both the parties remained busy in campaigning in support of their respective candidates. Chief Minister Kamal Nath took out impressive roadshow from Jhabua till Ranapur village.
 
Later, addressing a public meeting in Ranapur in support of party candidate Kantilal Bhuria, Chief Minister Kamal Nath left no stone unturned to attack BJP and ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He accused Shivraj Singh Chouhan of doing nothing for Jhabua in his 15 years rule in State. He told that what BJP failed to do in last 15 years, Congress government will do in three to four years. Urging voters to vote for Congress candidate Kantilal Bhuria, he stated that after by-election, he will again come among people of Jhabua to hold parley with them.
 
On this occasion, Congress candidate Kantilal Bhuria, Ministers Vijay Laxmi Sadho, Omkar Singh Markam, Kamleshwar Patel, Bala Bachchan, ex-MLA Javier Meda, MLA Kalawati Bhuria also addressed the public rally. On the other hand, BJP also did hectic campaigning in Jhabua. Addressing a rally in Bori village of Jhabua, ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that CM Kamal Nath and Congress candidate Kantilal Bhuria left Jhabua in a mess. When BJP was in power, it provided Re 1 per kg wheat, rice and salt to people. Along with this, former BJP government also gave cycle to tribal students apart from scholarships, smart phone and laptop. But Congress always wants to see tribal working in field with sickle in hands. BJP remained concerned for all sections of society but Congress exploited the masses.
 
Chouhan also did roadshow in Ranapur village and asked twenty questions to CM Kamal Nath. He accused Congress government of discontinuing students’ welfare schemes along with various social welfare schemes.He appealed people to vote for BJP candidate Bhanu Bhuria for development. BJP State President Rakesh Singh also hit the roads in support of party candidate Bhanu Bhuria. He did roadshow in Jhabua and made a lethal attack on Congress and its government. He claimed that Government is trying to misguide people in the name of loan waiver but Congress is going to get disappointed after the by election result.
