Illegal kiln of country liquor busted

Three accused including two women arrested 
 
Madhotal police busted illegal kiln of countrymade liquor and arrested three accused including two women in Nakshatra Nagar Phase-II. Police have seized 1,400 quarters and 10-litres country-made liquor amounting to Rs. 1.10 lakh from the spot. Arrested have been identified as Mohit Sonkar (32), resident of Bai Ka Bagicha, Khatik Mohalla in Belbagh, Ramvati Maravi (40) and Rajni Maravi (18), residents of Malara village in Tikaria, Mandla district. SHO of Madhotal police station, Anil Gupta informed that under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Amit Singh (IPS) police have started a special campaign against illegal trade, stocking and production of liquor under the supervision of Additional SP (South), Dr. Sanjeev Uike, Additional SP (Crime), Shivesh Singh Baghel and CSP, Garha, Amit Tolani (IPS).
 
During the campaign, police received information about operation of illegal kiln of country-made liquor in Nakshatra Nagar Phase-II. Acting promptly on the information, a police team raided the identified house of Saurabh Pathak and found raw materials and illegal stock of liquor. Police have arrested a man and two girls engaged in illegal production of country-made liquor. In the raid, police team seized 1,400 quarters of country-made liquor and illegal stock of 60-litres country-made liquor amounting to Rs. 1.10 lakh.
 
In further investigation, police found that the accused were illegally producing country-made liquor and its selling in the name of fake brand of a company named Elcobru Private Limited. Raid was conducted by police team led by SHO of Madhotal police station, Anil Gupta comprised of ASI, Manoj Choudhary, Head Constables, Pancham, Swadesh, Constables, Dinesh, Shashi Prakash, Sandeep, Sugreev, Himlesh and Woman Constable, Neelam.
