Upadhyay for ban on entry of heavy vehicles at Raipura

Raipur West MLA Vikas Upadhyay handed over a memorandum to In-charge Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raipur Ajay Yadav, demanding to ban on entry of heavy vehicles at Raipura area. Vikas Upadhyay submitted the memorandum to the Raipur SSP after a 32-year-old woman Ruchi Gour was crushed to death at Raipura yesterday. In the memorandum, it was mentioned that Raipura is a populated area where there are schools, hospitals and other institutions.

Heavy vehicles pass through the areas and because of it, road accidents occur, the memorandum added. The SSP assured the MLA that the police personnel would conduct a survey and after that, necessary action would be taken in this regard. Domendra Yadu, Vinod Kashyap, Sandeep Tiwari, Dinesh Pandey, Bhushan Chandravanshi, Dinesh Sainik, Nehru Pal, Leeladhar Sahu, Aman Gill, Ritesh Sahu, Netu Sahu, Ajay Nishad, Hemant Kamde, Premlal Bansod and others were present on the occasion.
