Rural boy, Bhaskar thrives in IES of UPSC

Bhilai Bhaskar Sonebar, a civil engineering graduate and a resident of Borigarka village of Utai in Durg district stood at 117th All India Rank in Indian Engineering Service (IES) examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Belong to farmer family of rural area, Bhaskar did his primary education from local private school of Utai and then completed his upper primary as well as secondary education (class 6th to 12th) from residential school of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Navodaya Vidyalaya, Borai Durg. Later Bhaskar completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) at civil stream from Government Engineering College Jagdalpur Bastar.
 
For UPSC preparation, he went to Delhi and took the service of private coaching too. Bhaskar also got 126th All India Rank in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). At present Bhaskar got appointment at Indian Oil Cooperation and planning to crack UPSC exam of IAS in next year. He credits his success to his father Premchand Sonebar, elder sister Aditi Sahu and friend, Aman Makhija as well as his family members. He advised students to do hard work and give cent per cent determination in any examination.
