Spectators allowed to carry only small purse, ticket and mobile phone inside the stadium 
 
A multi-tier security arrangement, supported by closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, has been put in place to ensure foolproof safety during the India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20 cricket match to be played at Vidarbha Cricket Association’s (VCA) Jamtha Stadium on Sunday. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Additional Commissioner of Police (Addl CP) (Crime) Nilesh Bharne said that entire stadium premise will be under CCTV surveillance to monitor movement of general public in and outside the stadium, entry to dressing rooms and parking stands. Five Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCPs), 11 Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACPs), 18 Police Inspectors, 52 API/PSI, and over 450 constabulary force would be deployed for maintenance of law and order during the match, he said.
 
Dog squads and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS), would be engaged at all entry points, said Bharne. Quick Response Teams (QRT) and two ambulances would be placed on the alert to respond to any eventuality, he added. More than 40 metal detectors, door frame monitor would be installed at all entry points at the stadium. “Every person would be checked twice by police,” he said. DCP Traffic Chinmay Pandit and DCP Zone-I Vivek Masal also were present at the press conference.
 
 
Food, water, flags with sticks banned Cops will not allow spectators to carry food items, drinking water, flag with sticks inside the stadium. Addl CP Bharne cited security reason for the decision. “We will allow spectators to carry only small purse, ticket and mobile phones inside the stadium,” he said and added that measure would be taken for security of the spectators.
