Vaibhav Agrawal, Director of Vaibhav Plasto Printing and Packaging Pvt Ltd said, “We are planning to expand in a big way by setting up a new unit with an investment of Rs 455 crore at Butibori MIDC. When ready, the new unit will generate employment for more than 2,000 workers. The company has recently purchased 22 acres of land for the new unit and we are in the process of starting construction work within a few months”.
 
Vaibhav Plasto Printing and Packaging Pvt Ltd was established in 2007 and is part of Plasto Group which is one of the leading manufacturers of pipes and tanks in central India. Vaibhav said that the construction work of the new unit will be completed within a span of two years. It will be equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and latest automated machines. The machines are equipped with sensors to detect any flaws during production. The hi-tech machines will ensure better quality of the products.
 
The products will be environment friendly and can be recycled as per the new standards and norms set by the Government. The new unit in is being set up under the Mega Project Expansion scheme of the Government. “We are setting up the new plant and adopting to changes as per market conditions. Our product range will include MOPP, CPP, BPP, PVC heat shrink film, plain ad printed shrink sleeves and pouches, laminates, pouches, multi layer film and LD shrink film,” he pointed out.
 
Over the years, Vaibhav Plasto and Printing has built an impeccable reputation of maintaining high standards in the market. The client list mostly consists of leading packaged food brands like Baidyanath, Dhara, Haldiram’s, ITC, Adani, Bisleri, Wipro, Bambino, Rasna, Heinz, Amul, Emami, Moserbaer, Brisk Farm, Gokul Refoils and Solvents Ltd, IRCTC etc. Currently, the existing unit is located at Hingna MIDC and employs more than 500 workers. The company is working around the clock in three shifts. The company has registered a growth of 25 per cent from past two years, he said.
