Centre approves Technology Centre worth Rs 200 crore in Jabalpur

Jabalpur being one of the prime commercial centres of eastern Madhya Pradesh. In order to ensure availability of skilled human resources for MSME industries established in Jabalpur while complementing the atmosphere of self-employment orientation in the city, an initiative has been taken by Member of Parliament and State BJP President Rakesh Singh towards establishment of technology centre that will soon be a reality.
 
In this direction, MP Rakesh Singh had made an appeal to Union Micro and Small Industry Minister Nitin Gadkari. In response to this appeal on September 26, 2019, the Union Minister has approved development of Technology Centre to the tune of Rs 200 crore in Jabalpur.
 
The Union Government has directed the State Government to provide 20 acre appropriate land for the centre. In this regard MP Singh had written a letter to the Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
 
MP Singh added that all the central projects including biggest flyover of the State, Ring Road, Science Centre, Planetarium or others such developmental projects being intentionally delayed by the State Government just for political reasons and administrative hindrances are being created. MP Singh added that the Technology Centre will be developed with Rs 200 crore and in this State has to contribute land.
 
The centre will provide technical training and education to youth and provide skilled human resources to local industry. The youths would avail education related to different sectors like Construction, Manufacturing, Electricals, Electronics, Industrial works, Leather Industry, Glass, Sports Items, etc. Singh has appealed to the State Government and local administration to ensure formalities related to availability and transfer of land should be done on priority. He further extended greetings towards people of Jabapur and industrial units for this remarkable achievement.
