Bhopal Lokayukta Police arrested Assistant Grade Three Officer of district food and civil supplies office in Harda on Friday. A case has been registered against him.

 

Sources in Lokayukta police told ‘The Hitavada’ that Jitendra Kumar Chaudhary is posted as Assistant Grade Three Officer in district Food and Civil Supplies Department in Harda. Chaudhary had demanded bribe of Rs 8,000 from complainant Ashish Kumar Azad. Azad is Junior Officer, Food and Civil Supplies Department. Accused Chaudhary had demanded bribe from Azad to send his service book and issue LPC for withdrawal of salary and arrears during the period of his posting in Jhabua and in Harda. Azad had lodged complaint on October 30 and trap was laid to catch accused on Friday.
