Woman found dead in Surai village

Sensation prevailed in Surai village when the body of a woman was found in a pool of blood under jurisdiction of Shahpura police station on Saturday morning. The woman named Radha Bai (40), a resident of Surai village, was brutally murdered with sharp-edged weapon by unidentified person in the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
 
According to Shahpura police, they received information of murder of a woman in Surai village. Receiving the information, a police team led by SHO of Shahpura R K Gautam, along with SDOP, Patan, Rohit Kesharwani, ASP (Crime) Shivesh Singh Baghel and FSL team reached the spot. A boy named Pawan Kumar Kushwaha (26), a resident of Sarai village informed that Radha Bai (40), daughter of his uncle named Amar Singh lived with her son named Abbu at his neighboring house.
 
Her husband named Munna Kushwaha is working at a dhaba in Gotegaon who went at his parental house some days back. On Saturday morning, he reached at Bhita village for working where Rajkumar Lodhi, resident of Bhita village who is neighbor of Radha Bai informed that the body of Radha Bai was found at verandah of her house. Learning about the incident, he immediately reached the spot and found that Radha Bai was killed by unidentified person. In prima facie of the investigation, police found that the woman was killed with sharp edged weapon by unidentified person.
 
Police have collected physical evidences and took statements of relatives of deceased and villagers. Police have sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. Acting on the complaint of Pawan Kumar Kushwaha, Shahpura police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC while further investigations are underway. Superintendent of Police, Amit Singh constituted a team for investigation to identify and apprehending the accused on priority basis.
