‘Will bring prosperity in agriculture sector to make MP a developed State’

CM Kamal Nath participates in Moniya Mahotsav at Bijawar of Chhatarpur 
 
CHIEF Minister Kamal Nath said that we will make Madhya Pradesh a developed State by bringing prosperity in agriculture sector. The Chief Minister said that he does not make announcements instead make promises and fulfills it. After inaugurating 2nd Moniya Mahotsav in Bijawar Tehsil of Chhatarpur district on Sunday, Kamal Nath was addressing huge public gathering on the occasion. Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that 70 per cent of the population of our State depends on agriculture sector. Overall development of the country cannot take place unless we provide farmers a fair price for their produce and double their income.
 
He said that we will develop agriculture sector by increasing irrigation resources and start a new revolution. The Chief Minister said that in just 10 months, our government has taken important decisions pertaining to agriculture, employment and investment along with welfare and progress of various sections of the society. We have decided that it will be mandatory to provide 70 per cent employment to local youth in industries to be set up in the State. Chief Minister Kamal Nath said, “I have come today to Bijawar area where development has always been neglected.
 
So, I have come here to get myself acquainted with the situation.” He said that he will come back to Chhatarpur again in January and will give an account of development works undertaken in Bijawar area in two months. Minister for Commercial Taxes Brijendra Singh Rathore has said that availability of irrigation facilities and drinking water will be enhanced in Chhatarpur district. This will stop migration and bring prosperity to the region. He further said that an atmosphere for investment has been created in the State and industrialists are coming with full confidence.
 
Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh and Minister for Cottage and Village Industries Harsh Yadav also addressed. MLA Rajesh Shukla apprised the Chief Minister of development expectations on behalf of people of Bijawar region. Chief Minister joins Moniya Dance troupe in traditional attire: Chief Minister Kamal Nath reached amidst folk dancers of Moniya Mahotsav and joined the dance team by wearing traditional attire. Members of Moniya team were excited to see the Chief Minister amidst them. MLAs Alok Chaturvedi, Neeraj Dixit, Pradyuman Singh Lodhi, Sanjeev Singh Kushwaha, Shivdayal Bagri, Nilanshu Chaturvedi, Jila Panchayat President Su Kalawati Anuragi and former Minister Ramakrishna Kusmaria were present on the occasion.
