BJP protests BMC bifurcation proposal

Bharatiya Janata Party workers led by former minister Umashankar Gupta protested against the move of Government to bifurcate Bhopal Municipal Corporation by holding torch in their hands at Rang Mahal area of New Market in State capital on Wednesday. They were also carrying a banner and raised the slogans to slam Government attempt to create two municipal corporations in city.

Notably, Government is flexing muscles to go for bifurcation of Bhopal Municipal Corporation as it is of view that creation of two civic bodies will fasten the development activities and will redress public problem speedily.
