YCCE to conduct seminar on Nov 8 and 9

DEPARTMENT of Civil Engineering YCCE will be organising two-day seminar on ‘Construction Materials and Technology: An Approach towards Sustainability’ on November 8 and 9. This seminar will address the issues associated with sustainability through promotion of low embodied energy building material, new technologies and material as cement and sand substitutes and the use of fiber reinforced concrete which increases its structural integrity.
This workshop will also highlight some of the crucial technical aspects required for Indian smart cities through above stated concepts. This seminar will cover technology based solutions to meet our objectives through holistic approach. Experts from reputed and premier research institutes, educational institutes, industries and in-house experts will be involved in comprehensive coverage of various topics and discussions with the participants.
