Incharge Minister Dr Govind Singh chaired District Planning Committee meeting at Zila Panchayat office on Thursday. Minority Welfare Minister Arif Aqeel, Public Relations Minister P C Sharma, MP Pragya Thakur, MLA Arif Masood, Rameshwar Sharma, Vishwas Sarang, Krishna Gaur, Zila Panchayat Chairman Manmohan Nagar, Collector, Tarun Pithode, DIG Irshad Wali, District Planning Committee members and other officials were present in the meeting. Incharge Minister Dr Govind Singh said that work plan should be made to redressal of revenue cases and the cases of land transfer, demarcation, distribution etc should be solved by organising camps in villages. He said that the non-disputed cases should be solved on the basis of mass decision of villagers.
 
Dr Govind Singh directed to launch massive campaign to control the diseases like dengue and malaria. He also directed the officials concerned to take immediate action on water logging situation in plots of any housing society. Minority Welfare Minister Arif Aqueel said that the shed constructed under Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief scheme should be handed over to municipal corporation and after maintenance through MLA fund these sheds should be used for public with the advice of local public representative. Minister P C Sharma said that benefit of Ayushman Yojana should be ensured for new BPL card holders and in this connection a proposal should be sent to Central government.
 
He also demanded that the names of gas survivors should be included under Ayushman Yojana. All the members of District Planning Committee passed proposals unanimously and also appealed public of the district to believe in the decision of Supreme Court on the issue of Ayodhya which is coming in future. Proposed master plan-2031 of Bhopal district was also produced in District Planning Committee meeting and the committee decided that suggestions on Bhopal Master Plan should be given in written.
