CM leads Save Constitution March against CAA, NRC

Taking part in ‘Save Constitution March’ against Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC on Wednesday, Chief Minister Kamal Nath said “Until there is Congress Government in State, no anti-Constitution, anti-public or anti religion law would be implemented in Madhya Pradesh.” CM Kamal Nath charged Central Government of encroaching the main sentiment of Constitution. He also accused Central Government of misguiding people and trying to divide the people. “Congress party will not allow any conspiracy to divide the nation ,” he told. The Save Constitution March was taken out from Roshanpura Square till Minto Hall. CM alleged that by doing work against Constitution, Central Government is imperilling the future of next generation.He said that India’s identity in entire world is known as there is freedom and right of survival for every religion, caste, culture and language. He alleged that divisive forces are trying to destroy the fabric which connects all religion with each other. Taking on Modi government, he told that on one hand Union Home Minister Amit Shah talks about implementing NRC in entire nation and on the other PM Narendra Modi denies it from public platform. The aim of Save Constitution March is to hand over India to next generation wherein there is culture of harmony. He alleged that in the garb of CAA and NRC, Central Government is trying to implement hidden agenda of Sangh.

Chief Minister Kamal Nath holding tri-colour while leading ‘Save Constitution March’ in State capital on Wednesday. Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot, Sports Minister Jitu Patwari, Minister Jaivardhan Singh, Minister Tulsi Silawat and others are also seen.  
 
Large number of people and Congress workers turned up in Save Constitution March by carrying tricolour in their hands and wearing Gandhi cap. Many religious leaders also took part in this march called to register protest against CAA and NRC. On this occasion, ex-union minister Suresh Pachauri, former Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh, ex-MP Meenakshi Natrajan, Ashok Singh, Rajendra Singh, Ministers Tarun Bhanot, P C Sharma, Sajjan Singh Verma, Arif Aqueel, Bala Bachchan, Brijendra Singh Rathod, Pradeep Jaiswal, Lakhan Ghangoriya, Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary, Priyavrath Singh, Kamleshwar Patel, Sachin Yadav, Omkar Singh Markam, Jaivardhan Singh etc were present. Apart from this, State Congress Vice President Chandraprabhash Shekar, Congress Media Cell Chairperson Shobha Ojha, Media Co-ordinator to PCC President, Narendra Saluja were also present. Leaders from other parties also took part in Save Constitution March and they included Lok Tantrik Samajwadi Party’s National President Raghu Thakur, CPI’s Badal Saroj etc.
