Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is a law to give justice and to bring radical change in the lives of crores of refugees. However, Congress is making an unsuccessful attempt to misguide country over the new law. Narendra Singh Tomar was interacting with mediapersons at the BJP office on the sidelines of a meeting in State capital on Thursday. He told that even during the period of Congress regime also, such kind of amendment came.

Whether it was Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru or whether successive governments, all governments were in favour of giving justice and citizenship to all those Hindu, Jain, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist or Christian who came as refugee from Pakistan to India. Even ex-PM Manmohan Singh had also made similar kind of demand in the past. He added that now such is the situation of Congress that it turns from whatever it says. Speaking to reporters, ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Congress is trying to fan violence over the new law.

The lies of Congress on new law would be taken among masses through the medium of public awareness programme. In all parts of country, rallies and march will be taken out along with other organisations. He told that in Madhya Pradesh, march will be taken out in all districts till January 15. Symposiums, debate, door to door contact etc would be done to spread awareness among masses. He told that CM Kamal Nath’s assertion that CAA will not be implement in Madhya Pradesh is defamation of Constitution. Former minister Dr Narottam Mishra said that Madhya Pradesh is moving towards emergency. “We don’t have permission to give memorandum on CAA but CM has permission to take out march,” he rued.
