When it comes to tribal jewellery after Delhi, Bhopal is one of the favourite destinations for tribal artisans in the country as it claims good revenue generation. Telangana Tribal art jewellery, Rajasthan jewellery, Chhattisgarh jewellery are kinds of stuff are in demand. The most popular one of 25 paisa, 10 paisa coins necklace with turquoise beads. Arti Chauhan one of the regular visitors says that this time the jewellery range is varied and from Rs 600 to Rs 3000 various kinds of chokers and chains are trending. Vizag from Telangana says that after Delhi in Bhopal maximum customers one get. At times they get order as well. Their revenue generation comes close to 1.5 lakh in this season. Nose rings, septums are other jewellery itineraries which is gaining popularity. From Rs 100 to 350 there is good demand for septums, he added. Mostly students are buying it in large numbers.
 
These septums are also became hit during Christmas as many bought it in bulk as ‘secret Santa gift’. Another tribal artisan said that here food and stay is been provided so only focus is to sell our products rest the organising committee takes care. In Telangana, around 15 families are involved with making of tribal jewellery. Though many of them involved in designing are women but they are not aware about digital marketing, said Alpana, tribal artisan. Digital marketing plays an important role in reaching out to target audiences. The Aadi Mahotsav is being organised by the, Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India New Delhi. The exhibition-cum-sale is being organised at Bhopal Haat.
 
The mahotsav is also organising cultural events on daily basis. Besides, folk songs and folk dancers of tribal community many other socio cultural events are also being organised to attract visitors. On Tuesday, a fashion show is being organised in which models dressed in ethic wear made by tribal artisans wooed the fashion lovers. Dressing and perfect blend of traditional and modern costumes of vibrant colours charmed the audience. The vendors have brought a range of colours, designs, sizes and qualities. Showcasing the beautiful and unique collection of outfits, jewellery and decorative pieces the exhibition is captivating the attention of Bhopalites.
 
The women loves to adorn her with wonderful and trendy clothing, this exhibition-cum-sale has it all. It is to be noted that TRIFED works for craft vendors belonging to different tribes and leading a livelihood in different regions of the country. The craft exhibition cum sale Aadi Mahotsav is attracting a huge crowd and is lauded by art lovers every day. Handloom material includes winter vibrant colours half jackets for men and women. Lots of varieties are available for women dressed material. This year the festival is being organised in Bhopal from December 20 to December 30 at Bhopal Haat.
