BMC, district admin act against illegal constructions in Lambakheda

The axe of district administration and Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) fell on the illegal occupants again on Friday as the anti-mafia drive continued in the State capital on Friday. The constructions of illegal plotting being done on farmlands in Lambakheda area in Huzur Tehsil were razed by joint team of BMC and district administration.
Colonies were being illegally developed by plotting on the farmlands belonging to the poor farmers, said Huzur SDM Rajesh Shrivastava.
He said that Samay Kunj Colony was being developed by Suresh Rajput and Jitendra Rajput on 6 acres land, registered in the name of farmer Swami Prasad.
The SDM added that the pillars, board of the colony, fencing and boundary wall construction were demolished by using JCB and poclain machines.
Another colony Tulsi Vihar in the Lambakheda area was being developed illegally on farmlands.
Shrivastava said that Subhash Yadav had occupied 3 acres of land, which actually belonged to Bhaiyalal Meena and had plotted the land to develop a colony. The land was leveled by using JCB machines and the pillars and fencing was also razed using the same, the SDM said.
