Two 9-ft pythons rescued from Sagra area

SNAKE Rescue Squad of Forest Department rescued two 9-feet-long pythons near a canal between Andhmuk by-pass and Sagra area, on Friday. Snake Rescue Squad Incharge Gulab Singh Rajput informed that they have received information that a farmer was working in the area when his leg was grabbed by a python on Thursday evening.
 
Receiving the information, Snake Rescue Squad accompanied by Sarp Mitra Manish Kulshrestha reached the spot and successfully rescued two 9-feet-long pythons from water supply pipes adjacent to the canal.
 
Gulab Singh Rajput informed that there are around one dozen pythons spotted in water supply line. The rescue team personnel started a rigorous search to rescue more pythons to avoid any kind of untoward incident. Rescued pythons were released in dense forest area after their medical examination.
