To ensure proper security arrangement during New Year celebration Bhopal police has started to screw up the security arrangements. Security has been beefed up in every identified area. Apart from this, barricading and checking is also being done.
 
The suspected vehicles are being stopped for checking. It is vehicles coming from outside the city which are being checked thoroughly. SHOs of various police stations are even taking out march in sensitive areas and in crowded areas. They are interacting with people. The bars, liquor shops are being checked. Along with this, cops are also reaching hotels and restaurants in connection with security plan.
