UNDER the esteemed guidance of His Holiness Dr Syedna Abu Jafar us Sadiq Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS), a seminar-cum-workshop on ‘Unleashed the businessman within you’ was organised by Anjuman E Ezzy, Dawoodi Bohara Jamat, Shantinagar, under the banner of Tijarat e Rabehah at Hotel Orient Taibah recently. The seminar was to guide and encourage people for doing business, What are the challenges in business? What are ways available, how to do business, etc.? were discussed at the seminar. The main aim of the seminar was to change the people’s mindset from being service minded to business minded. Community members attended the programme with great zeal and enthusiasm.
 
The programme was presided over by the Aamil Saheb of Saifee Mohalla, Shantinagar, Janab Muffaddal Bhaisaheb Imadi. The speaker for the event was Murtaza Badri, renowned speaker trainer and Life Coach, Mumbai. Badri has worked with companies like Britannia, Glenmark, PST tours etc. He spoke on 7 pillars of business development and how to discard the old mind set and use technology to one’s advantage. The Bohra community is a business community and believe in doing business interest free. He emphasised on the minor mistakes which hold one back and hamper his growth due to lack of knowledge about business, investment in manpower and advertising.
 
As the community abides by the teachings of Dr Syedna Muffaddal Saifuddin TUS, he related excerpts from Syedna’s discourse to day to day life. Prominent persons who attended the meeting were M Hatim Bhai Dhamangaonwala, Firoz Bhai Dhamangaonwala, Yahya Bhai Ehsani, Abbas Bhai Banaraswala, Qutbuddin Bhai Sidhpurwala, Burhanuddin Bhai Shakir, Fakhruddin Bhai Dhamangaonwala, Dr Murtuza Bhai Libyawala, Khuzema Bhai Wardhawala, Mohtashim Bhai Ahmed and others. Quaidjohar Husain, Secretory, Tijarat Rabehah, Shantinagar, and team worked hard for the success of the event.
