Vidarbha Pen and Stationers Association recently organised Diwali Sneh Milan programme. Arjundas Ahuja, President of Vidarbha Pen and Stationers Association was in the chair. Sharad Dhombre, Director of Sony Polymer Private Limited was the chief guest while Ramavatar Totla, Secretary of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) was special guest on the occasion. Farooque Akbani and Umesh Patel, office-bearers of NVCC were also present on the occasion.
 
The programme started by lighting traditional lamp. All the guests were welcomed by offering them shawl and shreefal. The office-bearers of Vidarbha Pen and Stationers Association extended greeting with the participants and members. Speaking on the occasion, Arjundas Ahuja informed about the activities and future plans of Vidarbha Pen and Stationers Association. He said, as per the directives of Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister the Government is establishing modern markets at various localities in Nagpur. These markets would have all facilities for traders as well as customers. He said, traders should give their suggestions for the modern markets. he said, if traders would give suggestion immediately, it would help the Government to construct the modern markets.
 
Sharad Thombre and Ramavatar Totla also expressed their views. Those who had completed 50 years in the stationery business and had also done social work were felicitated on the occasion. Five members Hussain Saifi, Subhachand Chopda, Bulchand Khushlani (Nagpur), Sukhram Ratnani (Yavatmal) and Shreechand Dodani (Gondia)were given ‘Stationers Ratna Award’ at the hands of Arjundas Ahuja. They were also felicitated by offering them shawl, shrifal and memento. Sanjay Gupta, Secretary of the Vidarbha Pen and Stationers Association conducted the proceedings of the programme. Ashokkumar Gandhi, member of the Vidarbha Pen and Stationers Association proposed the vote of thanks. Ramkhubchandani, Amar Hirani, Sunil Admane, Pramod Dahikar and other members took pains to make the programme a grand success.
