Jaivardhan holds discussions with World Bank delegation

Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh held discussions with the Senior Municipal Engineer and Co-Task Team Leader MPUDP Poonam Ahluwalia and Water and Sanitation Specialist Water Global Practice Upneet Singh of the World Bank about the ongoing schemes in 11 cities of the State. Commissioner Urban Administration and Development P Narhari was also present in the meeting. Jaivardhan Singh directed officials to remove the obstacles immediately being faced in the implementation of the schemes.
He further said that all the departments should establish mutual co-ordination to execute the schemes in the stipulated time to enable the citizens to derive benefits of the schemes. Notably, sewage disposal scheme in Bhedaghat, Nasrullahganj, Maheshwar, Dharampuri, Shajapur, Chhindwara and Shahdol as well as water supply scheme in Burhanpur, Morena, Khargone, Sewdha and Sheopurkalan are proposed with the help of the World Bank. Development P Narhari was also present in the meeting.
