Six ICAD students qualify RMO

Six ICAD students qualified the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO). This is highest figure in Nagpur and with this result ICADians continued the legacy of star ICADians.

Overall, 41 Maharashtra State students are qualified for next level Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO). Qualified ICAD prodigies are Anushka Tupkary, Atharva Prabhune, Indrayani Tayde, Raghav Sapre, Soham Dahane and Subhojit Ghosal.
 
Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) is the second stage, after pre-RMO, which students have to qualify to appear for Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO). INMO will be conducted across 30 centers throughout the country and will be of descriptive type.
 
Students qualifying INMO will selected for the training camp of International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO).
Till last year, 54 ICADians cleared Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) and 9 ICADians cleared Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO). While RMO selects the top 41 students of Maharashtra from VIII to XII standard, INMO selects the first 30 students of India.
 
It should be noted that it is in the process of their tough preparation of JEE and NEET, ICADians are qualifying Pre-RMO, RMO, KVPY, Physics and Chemistry Olympiads and other prestigious competitive examinations. ICAD hopes to repeat this performance year after year with passionate and enthusiastic students of the region, says a press release issued here by the institution.
