Highlighting the importance of saving energy costs for homes and businesses, Bhavana Chittawar, Co-founder of FinEffi Energy Solutions said, “In order to reduce electricity bills people will have to explore and install super energy saving products which are available in the market. Installing these products can ensure savings between 20 per cent to 40 per cent on the energy costs.” She was speaking in an exclusive interview to The Hitavada. Day by day people are spending more on hefty electricity bills which is wiping out their savings. Similarly, businesses need to control costs as they have to shell out huge amount of money on electricity bills which can impact operating costs and lower their profit margins.
As the living standards rise, more electronic gadgets are being used in our homes, businesses and offices which pushes up electricity tariffs, she pointed out. During the summer months, consumption of electricity shoots up exponentially as people switch on their fans, air coolers, air conditioners for a longer period of time. Currently there are a wide range of new energy saving technology, products and services available. More awareness needs to be brought about among the people regarding the importance of saving energy and benefits of bringing down electricity bills significantly, she said.
