Dr C D Mayee, an agriculture scientist of international repute has been appointed as member of recently formed managing body of Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), New Delhi. APEDA works for creating international market for agriculture produce. It also organises programmes to promote agriculture products export world-wide.

 

 

Appointment of Dr Mayee will help farmers of Vidarbha for export promotion of their agricultural produce. Dr Mayee is a Secretary of Agrovision Foundation, Chairman Advisory Council Agrovision National Expo and he is also working as member of working committee of Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth.
