IIT-HOME to hold seminar for engineering aspirants

IIT-HOME will conduct a free ‘Guidance Seminar’ on March 31 which will be open for all standard X board appearing students. The seminar will help students make a well informed and well thought of decision about engineering as a career.  The seminar is a part of the Admission Screening Examination (ASE 2021) process of IIT-Home but would also be open for students who has not registered for the examination, along with one parent.


Guidance Seminar Registration and collection of entry passes for non ASE registered candidates starts from March 21 onwards between 10 am to 6 pm at IIT-Home office. Passes will be issued on first-come-first-serve basis due to limited seats. Students must carry a copy X board admit card for passes.


Only one parent is allowed with student. Entry will be strictly with passes on prior registration. No provision for on spot registration, informs a press release.
This year ASE will be simultaneously conducted across four centers which includes Nagpur, Amravati and Chandrapur. Also, for the convenience of rural students first time ASE will be conducted in two languages English and Marathi to help them to overcome language barrier.


Means cum Merit scholarships in the form of discounts in ASE registration charges are available to students from a weak economic background. Such students will also be eligible for up to 100 per cent scholarship in the two-year integrated programme.
