DEPARTMENT of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, will be organising International Conference on ‘Advances and Challenges in Energy Research' (ICACER-2019) on March 15 and 16. ICACER-19 has CSIR-NEERI, Institution of Engineers, (India), and CSIR-CMFR as knowledge partners, R C Plasto, MOIL and Manmohan Minerals and Chemicals Pvt.Ltd., as support sponsors. ICACER-19 will be inaugurated on March 15 at Chitanvis Center, Civil lines.

The conference aims at promoting deliberations on high research and discuss on innovations in intelligent design of energy systems. The tracks of the conference are Applied Thermal and Fluid Sciences, Conventional /Alternative fuels / Automobile Engineering, Clean Energy Technologies, Energy Storage and Advanced Energy Materials, Energy and Environment and special topics on energy related issues. The selected papers will be published in IJMPERD(Scopus indexed), informs a press release.

Prafulla Pathak, Chairman, Solar Energy Society of India (SESI),New Delhi will be the chief guest at the inaugural function. Dr Shripal Singh, Scientist and Officer-in-charge, Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, will be the guest of honour for the function.

The conference organising committee is working under the guidance of Dr R S Pande, General Chair, ICACER-19 informs a press release by Dr K N Agrawal, Convener and Dr M. M. Gupta, Co-convener for the conference. The Organising secretary Dr V V Shukla, Dr S S Joshi and other faculty members of Mechanical Engineering Department are putting consistent efforts for the success of the conference.
