Handicraft expo begins at Nagpur Urban Hat

SHILPKAR Bahuudeshya Kalyankari Mahila Sanstha has organised a handicraft exhibition cum sale at Nagpur Urban Hat, at Ganganagar Square, Hajari Pahad. Women SC self help groups are showcasing their handicrafts and other products at the exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by Promod Karwati, Chairman Dharampeth Zone, Mahanagar Palika, Nagpur, Jagdish Gwalbanshi, Corporator Prabhag 12 and S R Masram, Senior Assistant Director, Handicraft Seva Kendra, on March 15. The exhibition is sponsored by Office of The Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) under the Ministry of Textiles Government of India.
The exhibition is showcasing handicraft items of more than 50 SC women artisans. The exhibition is displaying zari work, saree, dress material, tops, hand embroidery work, Banjara work, beed work and jewellery etc. It is open from 11.30 am to 9 pm. The exhibition will end on March 24. Entry to the exhibition is free. Nagpur Urban Hat is located Ganganagar Square, near Fire Engineering College, Friends Colony, Seminary Hills, Hajari Pahad.
