him to take action in the matter. In the meantime, the resignation letter written by Panchilal Meda to CM had gone viral on social media. In this letter, Panchilal Meda wrote that local liquor contractor had passed casteist remark against him and his supporters. He told that a conspiracy is being hatched against him and he is hurt with the development. Moreover, district administration has also not helped him in the matter. He demanded that additional district officer should be shifted elsewhere as he is reportedly hand in globe with the liquor Mafia. He told that he is deeply hurt and hence he is resigning from MLA post. In the meantime, Chief Minister Kamal Nath took control of the situation which was going out of hands rapidly and calm down the anger of Panchilal Meda by assuring action into the case. But the voice of Congress MLA Panchilal Meda against local liquor baron gave a burning issue to Opposition BJP. Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava said that Congress government is suppressing the voice of tribal MLA Panchilal Meda and intimidating him. He claimed that Congress has always suppressed the voices of tribals in State. The manner in which Minister Pradhyuman Singh Tomar stopped Panchilal Meda from keeping his side before media is evidence in this regard. It is a unique incident wherein tribal MLA Panchilal Meda raises voice against liquor Mafia and Government tried to hush up his voice. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that now the real face of Kamal Nath government has come to fore as earlier norms were amended to increase sale of liquor and now government has closed his eyes and ears to save liquor Mafia.

Meanwhile, former BJP Media Cell incharge Dr Hitesh Bajpai posted on his facebook account that MLA had allegedly demanded Rs 2 crore from liquor contractor and latter agreed only to part Rs 20 lakh. To save his image, MLA hurriedly sent his resignation letter to CM and it is only to build pressure, otherwise resignation should have been directly sent to Assembly Speaker.
