The politics over FIR in e-tender scam is still continuing. BJP is crying hoarse that State Government is acting with the feeling of vengeance after I-T raid conducted against close aides of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Meanwhile, Congress is telling that EOW is acting on the basis of evidence in e tender scam. Media Co-ordinator to Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Narendra Saluja took on BJP by telling that all BJP leaders are singing the same tune that there has been no scam in e-tender and allegations are inspired through politics. “BJP should tell that if there was no scam then why e-tender process was cancelled after tampering in e tender surfaced during its regime,” he told.

He said though no FIR has been lodged by naming any person but BJP leaders are crying hoarse over the issue. Congress Media Cell Chairperson Shobha Ojha told that former PHE minister Kusum Mehdele has come under the scanner and in her defence, Mehdele had stated that alleged file was not signed by her rather it was signed by then CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

She clarified that it was not PHE Department rather Jal Nigam which issued the tenders. Notably, FIR has been also done in connection with three tenders of Jal Nigam and the volume of all three tenders was Rs 1800 crore. She stated that e-tender is mere a tip of ice berg as various scams including plantation scam, pension scam, Vyapam, Simhasta, illegal mining scam etc are yet to be opened. The day investigation starts in these scams then many former ministers and former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also come under the scanner. On the other hand, former minister Umashankar Gupta told to media that Kamal Nath government is acting with vengeance. However, he denied that any kind of financial scam took place in e-tender process.
