A case under Section 307 of IPC was registered at Panagar police station on Wednesday late night after the victim of deadly assault serving as teacher at Government Middle School, Padarai lodged a complaint. The victim named as Rai Singh Bhadoria (38), in his complaint, asserted that he is originally resident of Gwalior at present residing Surmawaha, Panagar is posted as teacher in Government school was standing near Surmawaha canal. In a sudden development, four miscreants on two bikes passing through suddenly stopped and indulged in verbal abuse. On being resisted, one of the four miscreants in possession of country revolver fired at him.
 
 
The bullet perforated his left ribs. According to information, the injured named Rai Singh Bhadoria (38) in his complaint stated, was leisurely standing near Surmawaha canal around 8.30 pm. Four miscreants on two motor bikes passing through the path stopped and sought explanation about his presence near the canal. They said, he is not bonafide resident of Panagar and would not allow him to stay in Panagar any more and must move from the region. The verbal abuse was opposed by the school teacher, which made the miscreants angry.
 
One of the four miscreants, in possession of country-made revolver, fired at him on which he screamed for help. This made the miscreants to flee from the spot, leaving the man badly injured.
 
The bullet perforated his left ribs. People who heard the screams rushed to the spot and found the man bleeding from ribs and took him to Panagar police station. Cops, having recorded the statement of the injured, took the man to community health centre. At the community health centre, the medical staff, having examined the injured, gave first-aid and referred him to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. On the basis of complaint lodged, a case under Section 294, 307, 34 of IPC has been registered against the four absconding unidentified miscreants behind the deadly assault as further investigations are underway. A search to apprehend the absconding has been started by police. The injured, undergoing treatment at Medical College, is reported to be stable.
