CM should order a CBI enquiry into killing of MLA Mandavi: Amit Shah
   Date :13-Apr-2019

Addressing an election rally in Chhattisgarh, three days after the brutal killing of BJP Legislator from Dantewada Bhima Mandavi by Maoists, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Amit Shah said after the demand for impartial enquiry into the killing of her husband has been made by Late Mandavi’s wife Ojaswi Mandavi, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel should immediately order an CBI enquiry, provided he has nothing to hide. Adressing a mega gathering at Gents Club grounds in Dongargaon at Rajnandgaon district on Friday afternoon, the BJP National President Amit Shah said the Chief Minister should do the same so as to ensure an impartial enquiry into the death of the BJP leader.

He said the people who have nothing to hide are not afraid of CBI. On the contrary, the Congress government soon after coming to power in Chhattisgarh, put a ban on entry of Central Bureau of Investigation in Chhattisgarh. Before 2014, UPA was in power in the Centre while BJP was in power in Chhattisgarh but Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh had nothing to hide so he never put a ban on CBI. Shah said Dr Raman Singh had a clean image so he never cause impediments on the path of CBI but as soon as Congress came to power, it put a ban on CBI, which shows what is there in the conscience of Congress leadership. This is very significant for the people of Chhattisgarh and they should take note of it. Shah said today he had come to Dongargaon after visiting large number of places in the length and breadth of the country and everywhere he had been, there has been only one name, i.e. of PM Narendra Modi. This shows people have made up their mind to re-elect NDA government under PM Modi again – (Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar).

In this election, two camps are competing against each other, one camp is being led by PM Modi who had carried out development in just 55 months, which the previous governments couldn’t do in 55 years. The other camp is being led by ‘Rahul Baba and company’ who were engulfed in cases of corruption, scams, etc to the tune of Rs 12 lakh crore. Raking up the issue of internal and external security, Amit Shah said before Modi government, Sonia and Dr Manmohan Singh ruled the country for 10 years and during this period large numbers of infiltrators used to enter into the country from its borders, used to get indulged in various terror activities, even killed Indian soldiers, but the then government kept quite and did nothing to upheld the pride of the country. Now when terrorist attacked in Uri and Pullwama, but this time it was NDA government under PM Modi who ordered Army and Air Force to take punitive action and the forces reciprocated by entering PoK and demolishing terror bases. When such action was taken by the centre, people in the country were happy and responded by distributing sweets and garlanding the portraits of brave martyrs and soldiers. But it was unfortunate, that when these things on national security had taken place, there was mourning in two places, one in Pakistan and one in the AICC office.

Rahul Baba’s guru Sam Pitroda says talks should be held with Pakistan. Shah said Congress is welcome to hold talks with terror organisations, the BJP government will reciprocate every bullet coming from that side with bomb. Country’s security cannot be bigger than the issue of vote bank. It may be an issue of vote bank for the Congress but for the BJP it is a matter of security. Lok Sabha elections are going on, wherein, Congress has made National Conference its coalition partner, National Conference leader Umar Abdullah gave a recent statement that Jammu and Kashmir should have a Prime Minister. He asked the people whether this is tenable to have two PMs in one country. These people want to separate Kashmir from the country.

Rahul Baba should clarify whether he’s supports the statement of Umar Abdullah or not. But he wants to clear from here that till a single party worker of BJP is alive, the party will not allow further partition of the country and Kashmir will always remain an integral part of this country. In the five years of NDA government under PM Modi, over 2.5 crore poor were provided houses, over 7 crore women were provided with LPG connections, under Saubhagya Yojna electrification was carried out in the household of 2.35 crore people, toilets were constructed in the houses of 5 crore poor. This is called development. Over 50 crore poor have been made eligible for medical care up to a limit of Rs 5 lakh annually under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Such is the work of PM Modi led BJP government. Development doesn’t take place merely through slogans, development takes place when there is feeling of pain and care for poor. Praising the works under taken by BJP government here in Chhattisgarh during the past 15 years rule of BJP, the then Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh had provided sandle to tendu-patta collectors because he knew what happens to the bare-footed collectors when they work in 45 degree temperature during summers. This happens only when you feel pain for the poor.
