Women of SAF 23rd Battalion show super bike stunt; dog squad put up impressive show

Silent weapon drill of women’s wing of 23rd Battalion was held at Motilal Nehru Stadium premises in Lal Parade Ground in the State capital on Friday. Chief guest on the occasion was Director General of Police (DGP) Vijay Kumar Singh. Programme started with attractive silent drill of women wing, 23rd Battalion. Dog squad also demonstrated stunt on the occasion. Incredible stunts and demonstration of women bikers the 23rd Battalion held in the evening. Around three dozen brave women of SAF belonging to 22 to 58 year-old age group participated in silent weapon drill and the daredevils also jumped amidst fire and showed that they are not less powerful than men at anyway.
 
At last they separated in two groups and hoisted National Flag and unit flag. Earlier, chief guest and DGP Vijay Kumar Singh received guard of honour from women squad of SAF. Colourful balloons were released in the sky and ceremonial firing made the atmosphere beautiful and pleasing. ADG Vijay Yadav, Pawan Jain, Aruna Mohan Rao, Anuradha Shankar, Vijay Kataria, D C Sagar, D Shrinivas, other senior officers and employees, SAF and 23rd Battalion Commandant Simala Prasad were present prominently on the occasion. A large number of renowned citizens and family members of police officials and employees were also present to witness the stunts of women daredevils of 23rd Battalion.
