Youth held for killing uncle, aunt in TT Nagar

TT Nagar police solved double murder case within twenty four hours. Accused is none other than nephew of deceased couple. He had stolen ATM card of his uncle and withdrew money for his personal benefits. He killed his uncle and aunt as they were planning to lodge police complaint in connection with illegal withdrawal of money from their account. Police said that accused has been identified as Manish Rajak. Accused confessed to his crime. Police said that Manish Rajak’s uncle Dalchand and aunt Beti Bai were found murdered in their house on April 10. As crime was committed during day time hence needle of suspicion moved on someone close to the family.
 
Three teams were formed to investigate the crime, police told. In due course of investigation, police came to know that bank account of Dalchand had balance of around Rs 11 lakh on March 1, but it was reduced to mere Rs 28,000 on March 22. After retirement, deceased Dalchand was getting his house constructed. Hence, everyone were quizzed in connection with the sensational case. Contractor, daughter of deceased and relatives expressed their doubt on Manish Rajak. In the meantime, police also got the CCTV footage of person who used deceased Dalchand’s ATM card to withdraw the money. The image of youth who withdraw money by ATM matched with Manish Rajak. On the basis of suspicion, Manish was apprehended and grilled. He broke down in interrogation and confessed to the brutal murder of his uncle Dalchand and aunt Betibai. He told that he first put pillow on face of uncle and hit a grinding stone on his head. Later, he went into the room of aunt, put pillow on her face and cut her veins with operation blade and also throttled her to death. Deceased couple was living in Priyadarshini Nagar near Narmada Bhawan.
