SENSATION prevailed in Chungi Chowki area when two LPG cylinders exploded in a fire incident at a food kiosk under the jurisdiction of Ghamapur police station on Saturday night. Fortunately, the food kiosk was locked and no casualty was reported in the incident. Residents were shocked after they heard loud explosions from the kiosk and people in large numbers gathered at the spot. Learning about the incident, three fire tenders reached the spot and managed to douse the fire within one hour.
According to the Fire Department no casualty was reported but loss of property and cause of fire would be ascertained only after further investigation. SHO of Ghamapur police station Dilip Shrivastava informed that receiving the information of fire incident, he along with police team reached the spot and found that a food kiosk was set ablaze due to uncertain reason. Residents started panicking after explosions but the fire tenders managed to control and douse the fire.
