BJP leaders and workers felicitated Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur after announcement of her name as Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate at party headquarters in State capital on Wednesday. They hoped that she will be able to trounce Congress candidate Digvijay Singh with huge margin. Earlier, meeting was held at the BJP office and this meeting was attended by ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP National Vice President Prabhat Jha and other senior leaders including Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate Sadhvi Thakur, ex-minister Umashankar Gupta, Mayor Alok Sharma, MP Alok Sanjar, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma, Krishna Gaur, Vijesh Lunawat etc.
After meeting, Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted with media and told that Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur has been born for country’s security and service of people. She will dedicate herself for public service through the medium of politics. He even predicted victory of her with record margin. On this occasion, Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur said that Shivraj Singh Chouhan remained CM of state for 15 long years and the achievements of his government would be the basis of her victory.
She exuded confidence of winning Bhopal Lok Sabha election with the help of party leaders and workers. She also lambasted Congress by accusing it of hatching various kinds of conspiracies. She told that all conspiracies of Congress have failed and now even public understood this fact. She stated that in this election, ‘Dharam’ will win and ‘Adharm’ will lose
