After Chief Minister Kamal Nath tweeted about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Chief Minister Kamal Nath should not do politics and should go among people affected by rainfall, hailstorm and high velocity winds.

The lightning incidents have even claimed the lives of people in some places of State. Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that CM does not know that to seek help from Centre, State has to do the necessary conversation. When he was CM of State, he did not look towards Centre during the time of crisis, rather he used to meet the victims. Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced compensation package to Gujarat and on this, CM Kamal Nath had tweeted to PM that he was PM of entire nation.

Taking on CM Kamal Nath, Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that except the victims of fire incidents in Hoshangabad and Itarsi, CM had not gone among affected persons of other regions of State. He also sought to know that why the State Government has not sent the list of eligible farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi to Centre. He accused Kamal Nath of stone walling benefits meant for farmers by saying that CM fears that if farmers get the money then credit will go to PM and it is due to this reason that farmers are deprived of the benefits.
