Pragya takes on Congress; recounts atrocities in jail

BJP’s Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate Pragya Singh Thakur has started to create wave in her favour by mounting attack on Congress and its candidate Digvijay Singh. She accused Congress of not respecting women and also recounted the atrocities she faced during her imprisonment. She also took umbrage on ‘Hindu terrorism’ word coined by Digvijay Singh. While addressing a meeting of party workers on Thursday, Sadhvi Pragya remembered the atrocities she endured during the period when she was behind the bars. She told that “I took only water for 24 days, had not eaten any food, nor slept, got beaten black and blue. But I suffered all atrocities without uttering even a single word. They don’t know what kind of strength nationalists have in them,” she told.
With teary eyes, Sadhvi was recounting the atrocities she underwent in jail. Earlier in the day, she also spoke to mediapersons on couple of occasions. Talking to reporters, she told that if a person dedicated to the nation is declared as terrorist, question mark is raised on Army jawans and action against enemy country is questioned, then all such things come under the category of anti-national activities. When asked on Hindu terrorism word coined by Digvijay Singh, she told that they can tell anything. Talking about Congress, she told that they tried to ensure that she does not remain alive.
She claimed that she will be able to attain success in election as she thinks that all are patriots. She also told that she will go among masses by riding on the plank of achievements of previous Shivraj government and will seek votes in the name of development. Notably, she is accused in Malegaon blast case and Sunil Joshi murder case.
