Campion School begins its academic session with ‘showers of blessings’

Campion School, Arera Colony, Secondary Section commenced its new academic session 2019-20 on Monday. After enjoying small summer vacations, all the students are back to school again. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp done by Principal Fr Dr Athnas Lakra SJ, Vice Principal Fr Amritlal Toppo Bursar Fr Ashok SJ, Senior Teacher and Staff Member Mahendra Kothari, Senior Teacher Lathika Laxmanan along with students of different class representatives and other dignitaries.
This was followed by a welcome song sung by secondary section teachers ‘Mann Ki Veena Se Gunjit Dhwani Manglam, Swagatam, Swagatam’ and morning prayer service song ‘showers of blessings’ was sung by senior teacher Mahendra Kothari added a joyous essence to the programme.
A prayer was done by Bursar Fr Ashok. Motivational thought were presented by senior teacher Beena Prakash in front of the students. In the starting of the programme floral welcome was given to each student which made them feel unique and important. The students felt enthusiastic and look forward to the new academic session 2019-20 with zeal and hope. Whole programme on the stage were hosted by Sunita Minz. The welcome programme was arranged by the Cultural Committee. Principal Fr Dr Athnas Lakra SJ and Vice Principal with their speeches directed the students how to sail smoothly throughout the year and work accordingly to achieve their goal. Principal Fr told the students “To be positive, become good human being and excellence in their studies. Focus in studies holds prime importance, be attentive in class and concentrate on the lesson taught by the teacher. Be proactive and ask questions related to the lesson which will sharpen your mind. Never hesitate in asking doubts if you don’t understand any topic properly. Make your study plan and think a step ahead. Prepare yourself for the future and have sheer courage to face difficulties and problems coming in your way”.
