Notification for first phase Lok Sabha elections will be published in Gazette on Tuesday. Total six Parliamentary constituencies vis Sidhi, Shahdol (ST), Jabalpur, Mandla (ST), Balaghat and Chhindwara will go for polls under first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh on April 29. Chief Electoral Officer V L Kanta Rao told to mediapersons that the last date for submitting nomination papers is April 9 and withdrawal of nominations could be done by April 12. The voting under first phase will be held on April 29 and votes will be counted on May 23. As far as timing for casting votes is concerned then three Assembly constituencies of Balaghat Lok Sabha seat vis Baihar, Lanji and Paraswada will be from 7 am till 4 pm.
 
The rest of the Assembly seats of Balaghat will have vote timing from 7 am till 6 pm. For area domination purpose, total 19 companies of CAPF have been received and they have been deployed. Under first phase, eight companies have been deployed wherein 1 each company has been deployed in Singrauli, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Chhindwara and 2 companies have been deployed each in Mandla and Balaghat districts respectively. One company of CAPF has been also deployed each in Satna, Rewa, Bhopal, Morena, Bhind, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior etc.
 
The number of critical voting centres is 12,379 and under vulnerability mapping as many as 2,544 areas have been identified as vulnerable regions. Apart from this, the Election Commission of India has appointed general observers, expenditure observer and police observer for Lok Sabha elections 2019. Total 54 observers have been appointed. Out of 29 Parliamentary constituencies, one general observer has been appointed each in Satna, Rewa, Jabalpur and Indore parliamentary seats.
 
The remaining parliamentary constituencies will have 2 general observers each. For every Parliamentary constituency, one expenditure observer has been appointed. In this manner, 29 expenditure observers have been appointed. In state, total 12 Assembly seats are considered as sensitive and 55 expenditure sensitive pockets have been identified. Along with this, 16 police observes have been appointed. Excluding Bhopal, Rewa, Rajgarh Parliamentary seats, 13 police observes have been deployed in every two Parliamentary constituencies. IAS, IPS and IRS officers of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Bihar, Odisha are part of general, expenditure and police observers. The Election Commission has also appointed general observer, police observer and expenditure observer for by election of Chhindwara which will be conducted along with Chhindwara Lok Sabha election.
 
He also told that under CVigil App, 3,387 complaints have been solved and maximum complaints were connected with putting up posters and banners without permission. Moreover, voter guide will be given to every family which will contain all necessary information related to election such as what is voting time, who is concerned BLO, information about voting, voters right etc. A nodal officer has been also appointed to look after violation of Model Code of Conduct on social media platform. In the meantime, the Election Commission has provided special facility for displaced voters of Jammu and Kashmir. They can cast vote by using postal ballot. They have to produce certain valid papers and documents to get them registered for facility. For visually impaired voters, Braille language voter slip would be provided. Such slips would be distributed through the medium of BLO.
