Patwari caught taking bribe

A team of Lokayukta Police special establishment, Jabalpur caught a Patwari red-handed while taking bribe of Rs 8,000 for demarcation of agricultural land of a farmer at his residence, on Monday. The accused has been identified as Pramendra Sindram, posted as Patwari in Panagar.
 
The officers of Lokayukta police nabbed Patwari Pramendra Sindram, when he was taking bribe of Rs 8,000 from complainant named Beni Prasad Kushwaha, a resident of Panagar. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta Jabalpur, Dilip Jharbade informed that, they received a complaint from Beni Prasad Kushwaha that, he submitted application for demarcation of his agricultural land in Panagar. For demarcating his land, Patwari, Pramendra Sindram demanded bribe of Rs 15,000. He expressed his helplessness in giving the huge bribe when the deal was settled with cash of Rs 8,000.
 
Acting on the complaint, a team of Lokayukta police fielded the appellant for collecting evidences. Once the information was confirmed, a team of Lokayukta trapped the corrupt Government employee while taking bribe of Rs 8,000 from the appellant. In the trap, Lokayukta police team was led by DSP, Dilip Jharbade DSP, Inspector, Kamal Singh Uike, Constables, Sonu Choukse, Dinesh Dubey, T R Mudiya and Surendra Singh. Lokayukta police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act, while further investigations are underway.
