In a major breakthrough, GRP Jabalpur nabbed a man and seized cash of Rs 32.50 lakh at Jabalpur Railway Station from him, on Friday evening. The arrested has been identified as Lalit Kumar Soni, son of Rajaram Soni, a resident of Jalpa Devi Ward, Sher Chowk in Katni district.

 

 

The man was arrested with vigilant working of GRP Constable, Darshan Kaurav when he was standing in suspicious condition on foot over-bridge at Jabalpur Railway Station. Officers of Static Surveillance Team (SST) and Income Tax Department reached the spot for further investigation into the case.

 

 

It may be noted that under the direction of Additional Director General of Police (Rail), Aruna Mohanrao and Inspector General of Police (Rail), D P Gupta, GRP Jabalpur started a special campaign against illegal transportation of narcotic substances and currency under the supervision
